This is quite a nice 1/2 deep brown sized double bass. It has been well set-up and plays quite well and can even handle a low C if tuned down. New and instrument like this would retail for around 750 pounds. It comes with a soft case. The maker's mark is "Quality Instruments by Wilhelm Eberle, Made in Germany." It has some slight scratches from normal wear and tear around the scroll and on the edge where it has been placed on its side. This instrument would be perfect for a beginner or an upgrade for a student from a 1/4 sized bass and would suit an 10-14 year old.
